Sneh Sagar co-founded Design Studio UI UX with a fairly specific belief: that most product design problems are really research problems in disguise. Before a layout is questioned, before a color is debated, the deeper issue is almost always that no one fully understands how users think about the task, or whether the task was even the right one to design for.
That belief has shaped 10+ years of work and 350+ digital products spanning SaaS, healthcare, fintech, ecommerce, enterprise software, and mobile applications. Sneh is based in Kolkata, India, and leads design strategy across Design Studio UI UX’s dual-market operation — with active project teams in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Austin.
His portfolio includes Pretaa, a healthcare technology platform for addiction treatment professionals where the team restructured the entire clinical navigation and data visualization layer; Tailgait, a real-time stadium navigation app for Buffalo Bills fans at Highmark Stadium; SmartMoving, a SaaS product for the moving industry; and enterprise work for clients including Mimecast and Mareana.
For him, the starting point for all these projects is the same. Every one of them begins with understanding users and what they do, and what they are expecting to do. He talks about UI/UX design, SaaS product strategy, design systems, and about the decision-making process involved that decides the product’s efficiency, which products deserve multiple sessions and which one gets deleted after the first use.
