Prabhash Choudhary

Prabhash Choudhary is the Co-Founder and CEO of Design Studio UI/UX, which he started in Kolkata in 2015 with Sneh Sagar. He holds a degree from IIT and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. Before founding the studio, he worked across product and technology roles where he developed a practical understanding of how technology decisions and design decisions affect each other at the product level.

When Design Studio UI/UX started, serious global clients did not hire design agencies from Kolkata. Prabhash’s view was that the best argument against that assumption was the quality of the work itself. The studio took on no investors, built no outsourcing model, and spent its early years building a portfolio rigorous enough to make geography irrelevant. By 2018 it had crossed 50 projects. Today the studio has 350 projects across 30 industries, serves clients in the United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, France, and across India, and holds a 4.9 rating on Clutch.

Prabhash leads business strategy, client partnerships, and the studio’s AI-driven research practice, which uses behavioural analytics and machine learning to understand how users actually interact with products rather than how they say they do. His view on what design is for: it is about the responsibility to shape digital experiences, not just the aesthetics of them.
